ACWA Working Party
On 21-Feb-2007 the Working Party replaced the two more stiles on Walk 17A with gates.
Final test on Pedestrian Gate just north of Sandy Lane, Fillongley : Wednesday 21st Feb 2007
February Achievements
Two more stiles replaced, on either side of Sandy Lane, Fillongley.
The stile to the north of Sandy Lane joins the garden of Rose
Cottage, and has been replaced by a wooden pedestrian
gate. The owners of Rose Cottage supplied us with the two concrete slabs installed
to help avoid some of the sticky local clay.
The stile to the south of Sandy Lane has been replaced by a
metal kissing gate, which with a bit of wooden fencing work
blends well into the hedgerow, and in no way detracts from the fine
view ahead.
