Most business of the association is conducted informally by email, telephone or by ad-hoc meetings linked to specific activities. Meetings of Work Parties are held to co-ordinate the progress of work programmes associated with route maintenance and improvement.

Overseers’ meetings are held as needed.

The Annual Meeting is held in November or December. A visiting speaker, usually from an appropriate organisation such as a local authority countryside recreation department, is invited to give a presentation on a key current topic before the main the business of the meeting is conducted.

Annual General Meeting 2021
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic the 2020 Annual General Meeting was first postponed to Thursday 4 March 2021 and then replaced by set of written reports.

The next Annual General meeting will take place in December 2021. The meeting agenda will be posted here prior to the meeting.
